MEMORY
1-Memory
involves three phases – learning and retention, recall and recognition. There
are three main stages in the formation and retrieval of memory – Encoding or
registration, Storage and Retrieval or recall.
2- The three
stages of memory are Sensory memory, Short term memory and Long term memory.
Short term memory has the ability to hold 7 + 2 bits of information. The
capacity of long term memory is unlimited. Long term memory can be divide into
declarative (explicit) memory and procedural (implicit) memory.
